We currently do not have permits on any Southern California whitewater rafting rivers. However, within 3 - 8 hours from Southern California are 9 of the best whitewater rafting rivers. For example:
- The Kaweah River near Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is about a 3.5-hour drive from Los Angeles.
- Go farther north to near Yosemite National Park and you'll find the Merced & Tuolumne Rivers.
- Near Sacramento, the South Fork American River is the most popular whitewater river in California with great rapids and beautiful scenery. Fun for everyone.
- The Middle Fork American River flows through a 2000-foot deep wilderness canyon and has a taste of Class IV (intermediate) rafting.
